  1. I am currently a Phi mu alumni, i was in Phi Mu for three years and it was the best experience for me to come together and meet to people. Phi Mu was founded in 1852 at Wesleyan college in Macon Georgia their 3 founding sisters, Mary Ann Dupont Lines, Mary Elizabeth Myrick, and Martha Hardaway Redding. It was founed as a womens organization that provides personal and academic development, service to others, and commit to lifelong friendships. They raise money for the childrens miracle network to help children with cancer and other diseases towards death. The requirements and expectations for being a Phi Mun are to be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours, have GPA of a 2.75 or higher. All members must attend a weekly metting that is held on sunday nights to talk about the things that are happening throughout the chapter. Also all dues are paid monthly and most events are considered to be mandatory. I believe that the membership of Phi Mu teaches people the true meaning of what sisterhood truly is.
