Mandatory Days for Wearing Letters

Many people on campus today may not notice, but wearing your letters is not always an optional choice. When being in a sorority or fraternity you are required to follow the chapter rules when joining in the life long group. So believe it or not, there are certain days of the week and month where you must abide by the rules and show your letters off to those who are not in the greek society. For instance the week before fall recuitment is a huge time to display your letters to leave others curious about your particular group. You want to show that you want others in your sorority or fraternity and you seem interested in the new incoming greek life.
Greek week is a huge competition between every greek group on campus, it starts on monday and the awards go out on sunday. During the week your chapter will assign you and your members to wear the same shirt with your letters on them to make your group look very well organized and in uniform. When walking as a group throughout campus it gives others the impression of wanting to be in your sorority or fraternity.Wearing letters is not always a choice however you should be proud to represent your group.
